Planning your wedding in England and Wales? It’s important to know that, by law, your marriage ceremony must occur in a licensed, covered venue and be officiated by a religious leader or registrar. If you’re considering booking me for your wedding, you’ll need to complete the legal registration either before or after our ceremony – a necessary step, similar to registering a birth or a death. I’m here to guide you through this process, ensuring a seamless transition to the celebration of your union.
The beauty of choosing me as your celebrant lies in the freedom to host your ceremony in diverse locations. Whether it’s a local landmark, a luxurious hotel, a picturesque beach, a marquee in a field, a family garden, or even aboard a boat – the possibilities are endless! While I can work in licensed venues, unlike registrars, I don’t face the same restrictions. Registrars often deliver an 8-minute templated script and are limited to a specific spot within a licensed location, with multiple services scheduled on the same day. Opting for my services means more choices and flexibility for your special day.
